Scope:The purpose of this position is to ensure revenue and other transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed and supported in a timely manner and in accordance with the applicable accounting guidance and Company policies. 
Essential Duties:·       Obtain information from internal and external sources to record accounting transactions in the general ledger·       Review and account for complex revenue recognition transactions·       Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis·       Assist in the analysis of the Company’s allowance for accounts receivable and prepare the related journal entries and reconciliations·       Assist with accounts receivable process·       Prepare all audit work papers and assist the auditors as needed·       Assist with development and implementation of internal controls, policies and procedures·       Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment·       Provide variance analysis and other month-end financial information to various departments·       Ad hoc projects as necessary

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).Good organization and time management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Good problem solving skills, analytical skills and the ability to work with minimal direction. Ability to adapt to new situations, work well under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
Experience:3+ years of experience in accounting or finance environment preferred, public accounting experience is a plus
Hire Range/Rate:$65k – $80k Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location.  The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package.  Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
