Why this role

As a Principal Product Manager, Marketplace Pricing, you will lead the product strategy to price Evolve’ 35,000+ unique homes across 10+ marketplaces (such as Airbnb, VRBO, booking.com, Expedia) to maximize revenue for our owners. You will own the roadmap and drive execution for a suite of products including – SmartRates (our proprietary dynamic pricing algorithm), our predictive models and tools for our owners and Revenue Managers. 

We are seeking a self starter who is passionate about big data, experimentation, and growth tactics.  Successful candidates will be big thinkers who excel in dealing with ambiguity, possess strong analytical capabilities, and stellar verbal and written communication skills. They bring a strong ability for cross-functional collaboration and influencing a diverse set of leaders across Engineering, Revenue Management, Content, and Operations to identify opportunities and drive consensus on product investments.

What you’ll do

  • Become a domain expert, and craft a vision and prioritize a roadmap for a suite of products to delight Evolve’s customers while driving business objectives
  • Define key metrics, success criteria and align resources and effort towards that
  • Partner with revenue managers, engineers, data scientists, designers and UX researchers to push the frontiers of machine learning, data science, and economics to develop highly reliable and scalable pricing systems
  • Lead all aspects of experimentation and roll-out of new pricing capabilities, models and infrastructure while measuring the performance
  • Run complex data analysis to generate business and customer insights for decision making
  • Mentor other product managers, set and maintain a higher bar for our collective product quality
  • Own and participate in executive reviews, responding to escalations, and driving follow through on issues identified
  • Communicate complex findings and ideas clearly to stakeholders through strong critical thinking and an aptitude for problem-solving

What makes you a great fit 

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Product Management or related discipline 
  • 2+ years of experience in marketplace pricing, advertising or related discipline
  • Demonstrated success in data intensive quantitative analysis and recommendations
  • Can actively engage ML engineers and data scientists while setting a bold technical vision
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset: You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves, thrive in ambiguity, and move fast.
  • Ability to  succeed in a high growth environment and will have thrived in ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

CO

Evolve has a flexible working environment so teammates can work remotely anywhere in the state of Colorado, in our beautiful downtown Denver office, remotely or a hybrid of both! 

U.S 

We currently are able to hire throughout the U.S except in the following states: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both!

Compensation

Annual base salary range: $160,000 – $212,000, depending on relevant experience and location in the US.  This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
