Headquartered in the heart of the Midwest, our client is a specialty product distributor and manufacturer serving an end-user customer base including building materials distributors, dealers, home centers, and installers. They are the product leader in their space due to their understanding of the installer and development of key channel relationships. Having grown to $20m with a 25% EBITA, they are focused on driving margin growth while keeping their people a top priority. The CEO will be responsible for contributing to leading the Company’s overall strategic direction, profitability, customer acquisition, development efforts, operations, new service offerings, financial performance, and customer service. The best candidate will drive results and accountability through the executive leadership team and throughout the entire organization. This leader will have the ability to recognize and embrace the Company’s strengths and accomplishments while continuously driving improvement and ongoing change. In addition to driving topline growth, the CEO will play a key role in all M&A activities including the integration of acquired companies. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of success growing a medium – to large building products company with a cross-functional foundation and use this success to grow the client’s $20m company.
Building Materials distribution leadership experience is required for this role

Drive the implementation of operating performance systems, create continuous improvement culture utilizing data, lean principles, and operational excellence methodologies

Strong leader with a sales approach who can create a comprehensive human capital strategy for both current and future talent
